2006 Kia Sorento Repair Question

Kia Sorento Engine Problem
Lifters rattle and oil light comes on change oil and filter it stopes for about 500 miles then starts it again

probably sludge in bottom of pan from lack of service . have the system flushed out to prevent engine failure
