Crankshaft positioning sensor

Where is the crankshaft positioning sensor located and what do I have to do to change it? I've looked everywhere and can't seem to find it. And the reason I'm changing it is because I'm losing power when taking my foot off the gas and accelerating. I checked fuel pressure, alternator, battery and cleaned all my connections and grounds. The only thing I can think of is the crank sensor and I'm not throwing any codes so I don't exactly know what's going on. This is what I have read that could be t he problem. Any advice would be great as I need to fix it because I'm moving to michigan and I can't afford to take it to a mechanic. I know that it's somewhere on my transaxle but don't know exactly where. Thank you

That sounds nothing like a bad crankshaft position sensor when they fail they usually set codes and the engine shuts off because you loose spark. So you loose power when you let off the gas and press the gas again?I am trying to understand what's going on here.

Well I take my foot off the gas and all my lights go off for about 3 seconds sometimes it completely dies as well and then comes back on. My check engine light comes on when that happens but it goes off right away so I'm not getting any codes.

There aren't any codes my check engine light doesn't even come on. And almost every time when I take my foot off the gas it does it. And yes all electrical even my a/c will cut out. And when I hit my brakes it dies it too. My abs light and electronic stabilizing control or esc light comes on briefly but goes off right away. I've git a voltage mete r connected to the battery right now to check the voltage when it does that to see if it's my regulator. The voltage reads 12.63 right now which is a little low but I've had the alternator tested and it tested fine and there is a brand new battery on it.

It's reading 12.63 while driving with everything on. I know there is a recall on my brake light switch there might be a short in that but I don't think that's the issue. It will only do this when the engine gets hotter it doesn't do it when its cold. Could this be the regulator going out in the alternator?

It's reading 12.8 when im driving then drops to 12.6 or 12.5 when I take my foot off the gas and hit the brake when the lights dim. When I'm parked and rev the engine to about 2000 rpms and hit the brake it dropped to 12.3 abd almost died

That last reading was pretty low especially at 2000. So with the rpms at a constant 2000 rpms and the brake begin pushed you have 12.2 volts or less?If so what does the volt read in park at 2000 rpms with the head lights on and no brake lights on?Also Sam set up and just ac on and no lights on?
