What does Transmission control do when not working?

If the check engine light isnt coming on when turning the key on you have a bad blub circuit etc. What did they say they were fixing for 3,000?Did they look at the car to diagnose it?

Yes they did they told me this both manifold converters and catalytic converter restricted

I was saying a plugged but you said it started right after your jump start. So you have a 2.7L engine?You dont live in california?Did they say what took out all the cats?Thats odd for the cats to fail at the same time.I would see if a exhaust shop can narrow it down to certain cat. Sounds like there just doing them all. Also looks like they just bolt in so easy install no welding. If you dont live in california you could get all the cats for less then 1500 and put them in yourself.

I know I checked on ebay and the total cost is about $1300 for parts and I have a friend that could do that for me for $300.

Look on www. Rockauto. Com check those prices and copy and paste the part numbers on amazon and see where the best price is.
