2006 Jaguar XJ8 Repair Question

Jaguar XJ8 Fuse Problem
Car starts as usual,place foot on brake, gear shift will not move. Seemes to be locked in the parked position. There are no warning signs on.

Check fuses below
Fuse no.15 5amp in the primary junction fuse block below right A Pillar and fuse no.3 20amp in rear power distribution box at right side of trunk if both okay have the J Gate Assembly further check it contains the shiftlock solenoid and mode switch
