We can't help much on noise problems as you need to locate the source of it. Most rattling noises are from exhaust heat shields or a loose/broken plates somewhere.

I have a 2006 Infiniti M35 and I had it checked out at a Nissan dealership. They said the rattling was the timing belt and was caused by low oil. Another mechanic told me nissans and infinitis use up oil and the rattling will tell you when you're low. Got an oil change and the noise stopped.

Thank you for the input. It could be anything for noise problems as we do not know the source and this one possibity.

That should be the timing chain rattling you are refering to. If you wait for rattling to tell you the oil is low, you are too late.
