The issue you're experiencing with your 2006 Honda Odyssey's sliding door can be caused by a few potential factors. Here are some possible causes and solutions to consider:

Misalignment: The door may be misaligned, causing it to not close properly. Inspect the tracks, hinges, and rollers for any signs of damage or misalignment. Adjustments may need to be made to ensure proper alignment, which may involve loosening and readjusting the door's components.

Obstruction or debris: Check for any obstructions or debris in the door tracks or around the hinges. Even small objects or debris can interfere with the door's closing mechanism and prevent it from fully closing. Clean out any debris and ensure the door moves smoothly along the track.

Damaged or worn-out motor or mechanism: The motor or mechanism responsible for closing the sliding door may be damaged or worn out. Over time, the components may wear down, causing issues with the door's closing motion. In such cases, professional repair or replacement of the motor or mechanism may be necessary.

Sensor or switch issue: There are sensors and switches that detect the position of the door and determine whether it is fully closed or not. If one of these sensors or switches is malfunctioning or out of alignment, it can cause the door to close improperly and trigger the warning beep. Inspect these components and adjust or replace them as needed.

Control module malfunction: The control module that manages the sliding door's operation could be experiencing a malfunction or error. A diagnostic scan tool can be used to retrieve any error codes stored in the module, which can help identify the specific issue. If necessary, professional diagnosis and potential replacement of the control module may be required.

Check for worn parts first which I think you haven't done then you'll have to adjust to close by using the 4 different areas in pic. You should also check the latch which wear out as well. Check out the images (Below). Please let us know what happens.

Having problems with slider door not closing all the way, door light stay on and door won't latch close. How do you get inner door panel off to see if latch is repairable or needs to be replaced? The doors are not power sliding.
