Changed the timing belt put everything at tdc installed the belt now it will only start at wide open throttle and shakes very bad and won't idle

What is the history that led up to this? Did the old belt break? Have you double-checked the timing marks? What about a compression test?

Most likely TDC is misaligned. One tooth off will cause misfire and rough idle.
