Engine monitor light stays on
The engine light stays on and when I piut the car into gear it lurches like I have my foot on the gas

CEL/SES/MIL On
What you need to do here is have the computer scanned for OBD2 codes, there's a problem within the engine management system that caused the light to turn On, this is your starting point of diagnosis

Hi, I'm going to post the same thing under Daewoo Lacetti (as it's more or less the same car) but I have had this issue too (P0700 and P0705).
Had the physical switch thing replace (inhibitor or w/e) and was good for 6 months (from being stupid every day) and now all of a sudden has gone right back to where it was.
