Im getting an burnt oily smell in the cab when statoinary, but goes when moving. Ive just changed the turbo and was told this would cure the the problem. The car is a ford fiesta TDCI 1.4 on a 56 plate.
many thanks

You dont have any oil leaks on engine do you? I guess a leaky turbo could burn oil out exhaust.

No oil leaks, there was a small amount of oil in the air resonator unit

Any hoses goto that unit? Any oil in main air cleaner? Do you smell the same smell when under hood? A small leak in the exhaust system under car could also account for smell getting into car. If it's related to turbo change, maybe it will go sway after a few days?
