2006 Ford F-150 Repair Question

Ford F-150 Grease Problem
Front left 4x4 acuator trying to engage while in 2 wheel drive, when i slow down it engages, make one heck of a noise, thinking maybe a vaccum leak maybe

when was the last time you serviced the hubs???? they need to be cleaned and greased
