I took the engine of a 5.7 hemi 2009 dodge charger and put into 2006 dodge charger. It will not stay running. It just cranks. Everything is plugged up. There were no external differences on engine but engine only cranks. All the plugs and harness are all the same. I am getting a cam sensor corelation code. Are there any major differences between the two years? Can this engine work in the year I put it in?

Cam sensor correlation means the cam sensor needs to be put in time with crank sensor you need apro scanner to do that. It may be off by a few degrees. If the harnesses are the same and sensors are same then you should be ok.
