I found a puddle of coolant in the garage (pinkish) under my 2006 Trailblazer and checked my coolant to see that it appears to be completely empty. After looking around with a flashlight, it appears it may be leaking at the connection between the hose (see photo) and whatever that is connected to. Can someone help me to identify this and give me an idea of what kind of repair to expect?

I assume you are talking about eh wet spot on the hose which could be a water pump. Best thing here is to have the coolant system pressure checked to make sure that is where it's from. That is about all of an answer I can give you at the moment. Then check locally for pricing as they vary all over. You don 't have to go to a dealer for this.

Thank you for the reply. Can you clarify what this hose is called and confirm that it is hooked up to the water pump so I have a place to start when I call the mechanic? Thanks.
