Transmission Hot Idle Engine Warning comes up on Information panel. Had this repaired in August at a dealer in Akron, Ohio. Came back on once on another trip to Fort Wayne, Indiana, but did not reappear until Last Wednesday beffore Thanksgiving. The trans does not seem to be slipping. When check dipstick does not feel extremeley hot. I have low mileage but do not want to dump another $900 into the problem. The dealer put a Trans temp sensor? and a new plug in. They said side cover of trans had to be removed to do so. they also changed fluid and filter flushed cooler out. Any ideas, same problem or actually a major transmission issue???
