Hello I have a 2006 Chevrolet Equinox and I hear a loud cracking sound coming from the rear driver side the slower I Drive the louder it gets the faster I Drive the it quiets down. What could be the problem?

Is there anything leaking? Have you checked to make sure the wheel is tight? Have you checked wheel bearings? Since it changes with speed, it sounds like it is affected by the tire's rotation. Safely lift that wheel from the ground and spin it to see if you can identify the noise. Also, make sure nothing has come apart with the brakes.
