2006 Cadillac CTS Repair Question

Front end noise
2006 CTS with 36000 miles, has begun to make a pronounced groaning noise coming from the front end especially when steering, no effect on drivability but the noise is concerning, thoughts, advice?? Thank you very much.

Is the power steering fluid low, or has it been low. If it is low, identify the leak that caused it. If it has been low but is now full, it may still have a leak, and also have air in the system. Often times a probable source of leak is the pressure hose.
