Can anyone give a diagram of the firing order for a 2006 Cadillac CTS 2.8L? Or tell me which cylinder is number 3?
I have a misfire in cylinder 3. I just need the diagram to show me what one is #3.

firing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6 . which ever side of hte block is more forward tehn that should be #1 and 3 is right behind it. so ir your right head sticks farther forward than the left the right side would be #1 then 3 then 5 etc.

i screwed up left side is #1 then #3 then #5, 2-4-6 on right

I don't see a 2.8 liter on this-verify if its a 3.8 engine

so 3 is drivers side middle cylinder?

left side or drivers side is where #3 is. the firing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6. but check your fuel pressure as well if it's low it will cause the same problem.it shold be 55-60 psi
