Driving along all of a sudden just shut off. Had it towed. Put new fuel pump in. Started and ran for about 15 sec. Then shut off. Will turn over but wont start.

Hello,

It sounds like an issue with the crankshaft position sensor.
The crank sensor send signal to the ECM about the engine rotation. Over time with heat and vibration from the engine it can lose its internal calibration. That will cause it to send error signal to the ECM and the ECM will shut down the engine.
After the shut down the engine may or may not start back up.
