2005 VW Jetta error code P0036 & P0042

Well, actually I do not understand what those code means, mechsanic just told me so, but I want to understand what he is talking about. I will appreciate if you can tell me where can I acces a code list or if you can tell me what those mean. Thank you very much.

Those arn't VW specific codes. But they are saying that OX sensors 2 and 3 heating circuits are not functioning correctly.

Could mean they are burnt out/shot or not getting power.
