I own a 2005 suzuki verona, the alarm will not work and the batteries are good had them checked. Is it a battery on the alarm system itself if so where is it located?

The key will not turn, but today i sprayed compressed air and all kinds of debri came out and the key works fine for now. any suggestion as to whether it is the lock or the ingnition switch itself?
