2005 forenza lightning hit tree beside it now all I have is third gear everything else works but the transmission is stuck in third gear tried new ECM didnt work scanner says not recieving info from transmission
Where is the TCM

lightning strikes are very damaging to electronics.
it may have damaged the pcm, bcm, tcm and others.
before throwing parts at it, get it compeltely checked by a good electrical shop to see if it is something as simple as a blown fuse.
This may be an insurance claim for you. check and see with your company.
