Will a performance chip reset the ECM and make my supercharger compatible or do I have to replace the ECM?

Hello, I have a 2005 scion tc and I put the trd supercharger on it. I took it to 2 different toyotas and neither knew what they were doing or talking about. They said that the supercharger was not compatible with the ecm. What can I do now> I looked into performance chips, and replacing the ecm but I am not sure if those would work.
