Rattling
I have a 2005 saturn ion and there is a rattling underneath when i drive in town. can you tell me what might be causing this?

Could be an exhaust shield or a skip plate-jack it up and investigate

Possibly a catalatic convertor broken loose and rattling.On those cars i have seen the heat shield under the exhaust manifold break and rattle.I would also check the heat shield that is on top of the muffler they break loose amd rattle also on those cars.Let me know what you find.
