My cigarette lighter does not work, i replaced and new fuse keeps blowing, tried larger size fuse still no luck.?

Look in the cig lighter socket see if there is anything stuck in there like coins the end of a cell phone charger i have seen all those things blow the fuse.So does the fuse blow as soon as you put the fuse in?
