2005 Nissan Armada 4WD V8 LE

How was erangel89 's problem solved? I was told I need a new transmission, but don't think it's the transmission. DTC P1757 is code it is throwing. Same exact problem and dealership service center replaced a recalled ECM relay today

I'm having the same problem trouble code p1759 & p1757. I have a 2006 nissan Amanda. Any advise on what could be my problem. Don't want to by a part that I don't need and 3 dealerships are giving me a bunch of bs. Plz any one

Danyuell, I finally got my 2005 Armada fixed with the codes above which left me with no first gear after stopping. The transmission place told me it is the TCM that is bad. To fix it you have to buy a new valve body. (The transmission shop said do not buy a rebuilt or old one. Buy straight from Nissan as they have upgraded the metal and it is more solid.) The body itself is $1172 labor was $120 and they charged $119 for transmission fluid service for total of $1511. It is now running great, better gas mileage than with no first gear, ha. It was definitely a defective part and I am sending my bill to Nissan in hopes that they will reimburse me, but everyone says I'm wasting my time. I will report back.

My 2006 Nissan Titan was broken down due to a recalled problem. After the dealer installed the recalled ECM relay my transmission malfunctioned. I have a 2006 Nissan Titan. I recently had a problem with my truck not starting and then when it did start it would shut off while driving. I looked online and found that there was 2 recalls on my vehicle that just so happened to be the problem with my truck. I had the truck towed to the Abeloff Nissan Dealership in Bartonsville, PA. The dealership replaced the recalled parts which were the ECM Relay and the fuel sender. When I went to pick up my vehicle after the recalled parts were installed I backed out of the parking spot and drove forward. I came to a stop and when I went to go again my truck had no forward motion (it felt like it was in neutral, engine would rev but wouldn't move forward.) At this point the engine light was on and I hadn't even left the dealerships lot. I went back in and told the service manager what was happening and the mechanic got in the vehicle with me and we drove up the road about 2 miles and it seemed fine. When we stopped to turn around it happened again engine revved but didn't move. The mechanic turned the truck off and then restarted and we were off again. When we got back to the dealership the mechanic put it on the computer and said that the code was P1757 (front break solenoid). Apparently this part is located in the transmission and Nissan no longer makes these solenoids (you have to buy the complete valve body which costs $1200.00.) My truck has NEVER had any signs of a transmission problem before this. I contacted Nissan Corporate in hopes that they would fix this problem that they obviously caused by the ECM relay replacement. Nissan Corporate called back a week later and denied any funds to help me. They stated that the ecm relay replacement had nothing to do with the transmission problem. I went home and researched this problem. I found multiple cases where the same thing happened to other Nissan truck and suv owners. I went back to the dealer and informed them that that I found these other cases and implored them to google this problem. The mechanic was standing there and he said that he did go home the night of the problem and researched it himself and found the same thing that I did. The service manager there was surprised at our findings and said that he would reopen our case with Nissan corporate to try to get this problem fixed. Today, 21 days later I got a call from the service manager at the dealership and he informed me that Nissan Corporate denied my claim again based on the year of the truck and the mileage (122,000). I asked how that was fair when it has nothing to do with the mileage on my car. Had I gotten the recall notice from Dec 2010 I would have gotten the work done and my mileage would have been 63,000 (I know that because that is the year I bought my truck). To replace the valve body it will cost me $1685.00 for parts and labor. This recalled ECM relay was installed on Oct. 10th and transmission problem was right after that on the same day. My final answer of denial came yesterday, Nov 4th. It has taken 26 days for Nissan to decide that my vehicle is out of warranty. I have had no work performed on my vehicle due to their delay yet my payments keep coming. My contact at Nissan corp. Was Jennifer (regional specialist) ext. 457210. Or Sue the escalation specialist. This is happening to me right now ! I have an 2005 Nissan armada. I too had to have my emc relay replaced :(

I have the same problem started one week ago and they told that I have to rebuild my transition and I am in Saudi Arabia and we have change of woner ship of the Nissan Delar and we never had any recalls in Saudi and you can say all you want no body is going to listen to you or even look at your car and it would cost over 4000usd to rebuild the transition.
