2005 Mitsubishi Endeavor Repair Question

While driving and I hit the 20-40 mph my suv starts trembling. It automatically stops doing so when I speed up and only when eng. is hot
The whole suv vibrates and I really dont think it was anything to do with the tires I think it's something to do with the engine. I had it scanned to see what the code would say but the code given on the check engine just reads that the gas cap is lose. I need help and fast.

Have the wheel alignment, suspension and transmission checked out
