PROBLEM WITH MY ODOMETER & SPEEDOMETER
2005 Mercury Sable • 6 cylinder • 105,555 miles
When turning on my 2005 Mercury Sable today a warning “check transmission” popped up in my display on my dashboard. Upon hitting the reset button to remove the warning my odometer read all dashes “- - -“ and was that way when driving. My speedometer did not move while driving. An hour or so later after driving to where I needed to go I got back in to my car and my odometer was correct by speedometer still didn’t work. When driving the same transmission warning came up again and after clearing the warning my odometer was back to all dashes. Also I did check transmission fluid which was fine.
