Is there a Kia dealership close to you? If so, call the dealership and talk to the service department, see if they can order you a new key for unlocking the lug nuts.

I live in the US.

BUY 4 LUG NUTS THAT WILL FIT YOUR VEHICLE

DRIVE AROUND TO THE MARKETS. ETC. FIND ANOTHER KIA OWNER

ASK FOR 5 MINUTES TO GET TO KNOW HIS LUG NUT KEY

USE HIS/ HER KEY TO REMOVE THOSE PESKY LOCK NUTS

INSTALL YOUR 4 NEW NUTS

THROW THE PESKY ONES INTO THE THE FOREST

PROBLEM SOLVED. FOREVER!

I have no problem with CJ's suggestion, all suggestions welcome.

If you think you could get along w/o locking lug nuts, remove the lock mechanism and just use regular lug-nut. I realize this is your vehicle certainly your decision.

If the wheels are expensive, you might want to keep locking lugnuts. I've never used locking lug-nuts, don't like them. I've never had a tire or wheel stolen and I'm 68. I guess there is always a first time, hope not.

I guess neither my tires or wheels are something somebody would want? Lol
