2.9 DIESEL AUTOMATIC. CLICKING NOISE BETWEEN 45 -60 MILES AN HOUR. BRIEF NOISE THEN DISAPPEARS AS IT ENGAGES IN GEAR. FAIRLY LOUD, BUT GOES AWAY WHEN WE 'GIVE IT GAS'. ARE WE BEING TOO SOFT ON THE PEDAL, OR IS THERE A MORE SINISTER PROBLEM?

2005 Kia Sedona • 56,000 miles

Hi there. Our Kia Sedona makes a clicking noise when we drive between 45 -60 miles an hour. It clicks and then engages and then stops the clicking noise. Are we not giving it enough gas, or is there a more sinister problem? When we drive above 65, it does not make the noise.
