Jeep Liberty Noise Problem
Whenever I put my jeep liberty in reverse or drive, I hear a loud (gunk) noise, (feels like the whole transmission falls out). Other times it goes into reverse or drive as normal. What is causing this noise.

I just bought a 2007 leep liberty that also had the same type of problem.i took it back to the dealer after driving myself nuts for a month.check the bolts on the rear trailing arm.that's what it was on mine.doesn't make a sound now (thank god).see if that works ,the sound travels up the fram rail that's why it sounds like where it's at....
