Is my transmission going bad?
It has starting a roaring and vibrating feeling when i go to stop or at a steady speed under 45 mph? i replaced the brake pads last year and have new tires since april 2012. It's like i'm driving a big 4x4 with huge mud tires on it. i have regular tires on it.

Have you checked to see if the wheel bearings are bad?Also when you hear the noise shift to neutral and see if the noise goes away?
