2005 Isuzu Ascender Repair Question

Isuzu Ascender Fuel tank Problem
Tank is full...GAS GAUGE says otherwise. What are the possible causes? I have replaced the motors in the intrument cluster, so that is not the issue. Sensor? Fuel logged Float? What is most common cause?

A bad sending unit in fuel tank or a broken wire.
