what is wrong with my car only when i put gas in it? i own a 2005 v6 hyundai tiburon.

only when i add fuel it has a hard time starting and i have to press the gas paddle so it won't die out. but once i get past that it runs fine.

could it be the gas pump?

Maybe fuel EVAP valve allowing fuel to enter vent and flood engine. Check engine light on?
