Blower wasn't blowing. I checked the resitor. Then I played with the conrtol ****. Just tuning the **** doesn't work. But if I pull or push the whole **** up or down then the blower comes on just fine. I read in my repair book that I have to disarm the airbags befor I pull the panel out and to use either a plastic tool or a taped screwdriver to get the clips open. Is this all I correct and are there any other precausions I need to be aware of?

The control switch is a rare failure. The blower resistor is much more common. How did you check the resistor?

We pulled apart the dash and checked the resistor and it was fine. If we pushed the **** past the high postion then it would come on. It also works in the second speed postion but not on any other settings.
