2005 Hyundai Accent Repair Question

Hyundai Accent Sensor Problem
My car had problems going above 35 miles an hour! The mechanic says its a censor so he replaced it.now he says there's a glitch in the main frame and it has to go to Hyundai to flash it! How much does ghat cost?

i would get a second opinion. if there was an update, why did he replace a sensor. what was the sensor??
it sounds like a clogged cat converter.
