Honda Accord Wheel Problem
There is a bar across the front of the car that is attached to the wheels it has an accordion like cover over the rod that leads to the wheel what is that called? The rod is it a rack?How do you know when there is a problem with the rod?

You are referring to the steering rack, you can get a few different problems ranging from knocks , oil leaks, loose and worn components, a trained mechanic should be inspecting this for you.
