Ford Territory Gas Problem

Ter.r car converted to LPG (professional 4 years ago) worked perfect on LPG
all of a sudden every now and then sputters on the road sometimes after 1 or 2 hrs
just a very little while and with hitting the accelerator it correct itself for another 20/40 miutes, this is both on petrol and LPG. Car 3 times on the comp. but no diagnostic problems
last time just out of the srvice shop and a stutter (short) by changing to a lower gear (automatic) and using the gaspedal it comes back no normal running. Any help for me before spending a fortune on this problem. (Changed spark plugs but still same problem).
