2005 Ford Focus Blown fuse

Ford focus 1.8 petrol been laid up for a bit took battery off to charge it. Took it for a run. Ran fine no problems. Parked up for one hour tried to start would not start found fuse blown the one for the petrol replaced the fuse took for run came back tried to start blown fuse again can you help any ideas thanks ray

You sound like you are in uk so not sure if yours is wired same or not but have it scanned the fuel pump module may be shorting out as it goes to inertia switch then module then pump. Or it could be a short anywhere along there.
