Ford fiesta 1.6 engine pinging

Since I got the 100 000km service (with the replacement of the cambelt) my engine has a major loss of power and a pinging from about 4500rpm. The dealer said its the fuel im using but im using the 95 octane. I have taken the car back to the dealer about 10 times and every time they tell me they had it on the computer and did not see any faults.

Check the knock sensor might not be retarding the ignition timing and also if the engine is overheating

It the knock sensor is faulty will it not show as an error on the diagnostic computor not pick it up?
