I accidentally put motor oil in my fuel pump cup how will this effect my truck

Fuel pump cup? You mean inside the fuel tank? Did you take it back out?

How did you get it in there?
Did you have the fuel pump out? If the pump is out, just pour it out. If the pump is still in the tank I don't even understand how you got it in there.
