Timing belt snapped

The timing belt went in my 1.4 lacetti and im just wondering if its just a matter of replacing in or could there be more damage too the engine

To find out you need to open the front cover and investigate thoroughly what really happened

thanks .. i was talking too a mechanic and he was just saying too me that in some cars its just a matter of replacing it so i was only wondering
