Problems with amp gauge
My 2005 chev silverado 2500pickup the amp meter doesn't go to 0 when shut off the gauge is at 14 start the engine and the gauge goes over 19 sometime stays there when shutoff is the the gauge or the alternator

this problem would be in the gauge.if your not having any problems its charging.have the charging system checked anyway.
