AC ACTUATOR DRIVERS SIDE
2005 Chevrolet Silverado • 180,000 miles
I replaced the actuator on drivers side and ac still switches to heat driving down the road just not as often. Dealer told me before I install the actuator to set my controls where I want and do not change settings for at least 1 hour of run time and I did. The service rep. Now says it needs to be calibrated my queation is how do you calibrat an eloctronic part that has no adjustment on it. I did disconnect tne battery for about 10 min. Just in case a computer need to be reset. Do you have an answer I think the dealer is blowing smoke and just wants to charg me $70 for something very simple
