AC actuator drivers side

I replaced the actuator on drivers side and ac still switches to heat driving down the road just not as often. dealer told me before i install the actuator to set my controls where i want and do not change settings for at least 1 hour of run time and i did. the service rep. now says it needs to be calibrated my queation is how do you calibrat an eloctronic part that has no adjustment on it. I did disconnect tne battery for about 10 min. just in case a computer need to be reset . do you have an answer i think the dealer is blowing smoke and just wants to charg me $70 for something very simple

no smoke need scan tool to calibrate actuators after replacement
