2005 Chevrolet Impala fan

Even when the car is turned off, the fan is blowing. It will not turn off. My husband removed the fuse to get it turned off. So now I have no air conditioning blowing. Do we need a new relay for it? I called a few garages and they said they can't find a part named that, they want to inspect it, funny I found a part on line for $15, but before I order it, I want to be sure that will fix it

If you think it's a relay you can use another like relay in your fuse box and see if that does it if it does then you know otherwise it may be a control head bad or possibly the wiring harness melted going to resistor and causing blower not to shut off or work properly.
