What is code P2101 on a 2005 chevy cobalt
Car would not start and engine power reduce light came on

That is a fault with the Throttle Actuator. Check the wireharness and ensure they are clean and secure.

Do you have a cobolt or colorado?Makes it confusing when you have one vechile header and saying your asking a question about another one.Also if it is a cobolt is it a 2005?If the reduced performance light comes that means there is a failure in the throttle by wire system and the computer is putting the car in a limp mode for safety reasons.It can also disable starting depending in the failure.
