How to replace a vehicle speed sensor cadillac escalade 2005

Vehical is reving exceedingly high like 5000 rpm at 60 mph on the HW looking for a fix and think its a faulty vehicle speed sensor. Any help would be awsome.

guessing gets expensive and is usually wrong. does your speedometer work??

did you have someone check for any codes in the trans?? it may be an internal trans issue.

start at basics, then we can move forward.

Yes the speedometer works fine, aside from the high reving.

ok, most likely not the speed sensor. you need to look elsewhere for the reason it does not shift up.

get an opinion from a trans shop.
