My car makes a buzzing sound when accelerating, im trying to pinpoint the cause not cannot not find any information about it. I've tried to see if it was the a/c compressor by turning off the ac but the noise continues to occur.

Check to make sure the power steering fluid is full. It could be the pump.

Fluid is good, it doesn't happen while turning only when accelerating. The noise sounds as if it is coming from behind the the radio.

That is a good one. Behind the radio. Check to see if there are any relays in that area.

Mrigene, were you able to determine the source of your buzzing? If not, does it occur all the time or maybe just when the A/C, vent, or heater is on? There's an actuator for the driver's side right behind the stereo.
