Charging System Failure

All of a sudden while driving in bumper to bumper traffic in 90 degree weather with the AC blowing Max, the car gave an alarm and the display stated Charging System Failure. Shortly after the AC stopped working. Then another alarm went off with "Battery Saver Turn on" came up. These notices would come on sparatically. Then now the radio, seat-belt signal, TC issues, would act up. Is this a battery issue or something more??? Please help!
