BMW cutting out only once every time it starts for the first time

Hello I have a BMW 3.18 2.0 n46
Car is in limp mode .
Hard to start , turns over 5/6 times before it fires up.
Code p0014 b Camshaft Position "B" - Timing Over-Advanced or System Performance (Bank 1).
Firstly may I add that my catalytic converter broke into pieces blocking my exhaust. New one fitted.
Car does not misfire , seems to run fine apart from max 3000rpm. Sometime it start up first time and drives as normal. while driving , within the first 5 minutes it will cut out and go into limp mode with hard start .
Today I changed the exhaust camshaft sensor and there I NO difference. Thx
