Jetta Engine Problems

I have a 2004 Jetta, when I push on the gas the RPM raises and pedal goes limp, then it runs very rough, at times it stalls out. I already replaced the crank and speed sensor

Inspect and test the mass airflow sensor and the throttle position sensor-check for airleak between the MAF sensor and the throttle body-to include a fuel pressure check-

I found the airflow hose losely held together with electrical tape could that be the problem?

You're getting unmetered air-try sealing it and see what happens
