P0234 Engine Overboost Condition

Any rev range around 2500 or more causes car to go into limp mode cant find any split vac hoses and waste gate actuating arm is not seized, any help would be appreciated

We have no info on Vauxhalls, but see if the vacuum motor connected to the waste gate is operating at all. Then go back to the switch/sensor and see if it has vacuum going to it and from it.

As vauxhall is a gm subsidary i've looked it upon one of the american cars that has a similar system. First thing to do is check the duct work for ANY airleaks with soapy water. The clamps that hold htis on are special clamps an dcan't be replaced with any tpe clamp and they must be torqued right. You also have to check for a blocked exaust if you have a scan tool that can operate TC bypass solenoid and TCwastegate solenoid then get back with me and i'll send theinstructins for a Chevy. This has to be very similar. The sensor that controls this is IAT 2 included is a pick of air intake sensor

It was the boost control solenoid had already checked vac system for leakage non found but now gwttig egr fault code

What is the code number it can be anything from an air leak /converter/or O2 sensor. Send back the code number.
